You not only refine the visual appearance, you also generally add to your door’s equipment. The additional security and convenience equipment, deliver the finishing touch to your ideal door. You can, of course, also choose from accessory products such as letterboxes.
If you set great store by the visual appearance of your front door and side panel, give your creativity free reign with our aluminium doors. Choose from exclusive design elements, such as glass art motifs for side panels and patterned glass, to create your personal light mood in the interior. Especially glass art motifs create an intriguing effect by refracting the light differently depending on the angle of view. These design options are available in addition to the equipment packages for an extra charge.

Glazing
Safety thermally-insulated glazing
Thermally-insulated glazing – depending on the system, up to four panes with
a Ug value of up to 0.6 W/(m2K) – helps cut heating costs, the 6 mm laminated safety glass ensures increased security.
In addition to the standard 6 mm laminated safety glass glazing, Weru offers you a broad selection of further burglary deterrent glazing. This can be combined with thermal protection and acoustic protection functions, as well as with glass art motifs and patterned glass. The panes are bonded together using an extremely tough, tear-resistant plastic foil. This means the glass is very difficult to break, and even if the pane does break, the fragments remain firmly attached to the foil – making it very difficult to penetrate the glass.

Glass art motives for side panels
Whether sandblasted, sandblasted with motif or sandblasted with colour: Weru offers a host of attractive glass art designs. Here you can see a few examples of individually adapted door/side panel combinations. Take inspiration!
Patterned glass
You can also create an unmistakable design with modern or traditional patterns in the glass. While protecting the interior from prying eyes. The textured surface of the patterned glass is located in the cavity between the panes and allows sufficient light to pass through. The outside of the panes is smooth and easy to clean.

Hinges
In the standard version, the aluminium doors are equipped, depending on the system, either with screw-on hinges, screw-on roller hinges or roller hinges. As an option you can select completely concealed internal hinges.

Lock systems
As standard, Weru doors are equipped so that once pulled to, they are automatically locked by 2 latch bolts (AutoLock). A 5-bolt lock with sturdy solid and swivelling bolts made from hardened steel can further improve the security of your aluminium door. The solid bolts also improve the resistance of the door. Meanwhile, the swivelling hooks prevent the frame and sash from being forced apart. This means it is practically impossible to saw off or bend the bolts.

Lock Extras
Pry-out guards – Part of the Protect +, Protect ++ and Protect +++ packages
Closing wedges and drill-in pins on the frame and sash rebate in particular engage in one another when the door is closed, thereby preventing the door sash from being pried open forcefully in the hinge area.
Weru TwinLock
The Weru TwinLock door arrester device allows you to open the door just a crack at first in order to peep out. No one can come in until you unlock from the inside. In order to gain access to the house, unlock the TwinLock from outside using your key. An additional security aspect: All parts of the lock are concealed in the door profiles.
Finger scan unit with control unit
Part of the Comfort + + + equipment package
The finger scan unit allows you to open your front door conveniently using your fingerprint – you really can forget about your door key, codes or cards. The control unit compares the scanned fingerprint with the previously stored fingerprints – and opens the door in case of a match.
Electric door opener with intercom system
Added security and convenience in one: The intercom system allows you to make sure who is at the door first. The electric door opener then allows you to conveniently open the door for your guests using the intercom – without you having to go out of your way. The extra convenience, especially in multi-storey buildings or for people with limited mobility.

Door closer
We have all experienced it. You have a lot to carry, after a shopping trip for example – and need to put everything down again or tie yourself in knots in order to close the door. Weru door closing units provide additional convenience by closing the door fully automatically. You can choose from slide rail, shallow form or concealed in the frame versions. A precisely adjustable force causes the door to close gently but securely – to the necessary pressure – in the lock.

Postbox systems/through systems
With the right front plates, you can integrate a letterbox and doorbell in the side panel of Weru front doors. The front plates made from galvanised, powder-coated steel are very robust. The metal bell buttons are recessed flush into the steel front. On request, they can be provided with aluminium name plates into which you can have your name and logos engraved.

Digital door viewer
Good to know who is at the door: The digital door viewer uses a camera to record what’s going on outside, and shows you inside on a monitor. In a convenient size and without any distortion at all.
Step protection
How often do you have your hands full and push the door open with your. Gradually, unsightly scratches appear in the door paint. A stainless steel step protection at the bottom of your entrance door protects the surface. Depending on selected model, this rigid plinth is installed flush or surface mounted.
