Project: Sea Cliff View, Isle of Man

This project includes our Weru Afino TEC system in Anthracite Grey. 

One of Weru Windows recent projects was across in the Isle of Man.

The Job was a complete renovation and extension of an existing property. The main brief was to install a whole new set of windows, panoramic sliders and entrance doors that would be energy efficient and make the property look contemporary.

Our Director, dealt personally with the customer through the whole process – from initial enquiry to final installation. The homeowner has installed Weru throughout his three previous properties and wouldn’t settle for anything less in his new home. They discussed a lot about the latest specification of windows and doors which we offer and what would be best suited to them, based on location and preference. Weru advised the customer to go with Afino Tec triple-glazed windows, HS doors and Atris Life entrance doors. Afino Tec is a PVC hybrid system that is very energy efficient and reliable. These systems all have triple sealed sashes, meaning the “salty air” coming off the sea on the Isle of Man will not erode the mechanism built inside the window. Triple sealed sashes also minimise condensation from happening. Our high-quality gaskets are all EPDM to guarantee a long product lifespan. The exceptionally weather resistant material is highly resilient which guarantees long term tightness. This avoids draughts and heat loss, making it perfect for the coastal location.

The project was completed in three phases, with the final installation finishing in August 2016.
