This project includes our Weru Afino TEC system in Anthracite Grey. It heavily featured our lift and slide patio doors as well as large fixed pane glazing – this is a true representation of what Weru can do!
This stunning new build project is a great example of the impressive work we do at Weru. We worked closely with the homeowner on this project who specifically asked for a product which would be energy efficient as well as functional. It was an obvious choice to select our Weru Afino Tec system which is state-of-the-art technology! With steel reinforcement in the frame, the GFP high-tech material and loadbearing components bolted into the steel, it surpasses other windows by means of its enduring dimensional stability. We manufactured and installed all of the windows, patio doors and the front entrance on this property. We decided to opt for our Afino Tec lift-and-slide patio doors because of the outstanding energy efficiency it offers compared to other patio solutions. Find out more about our lift and slide patio doors here. The 86mm thick GFP high-tech sash profiles are fully reinforced which allows our lift-and-slide doors achieve a Ud value down to 0.67 W/(m2k). The special profile construction allows us to use a glazing thickness of 53mm which provides a greater degree of thermal insulation, burglar protection using special Laminated panes which also enhance acoustic protection – meeting all the requirements that the homeowner asked for!
If it wasn’t the exceptionally large panes of glazing that caught your eye, it may of been the bespoke designer Weru front entrance door which gives this property the ‘wow’ factor. Each of our front entrance doors are completely bespoke and designed entirely by our clients who can select from a range of designs, surface material, glazing designs and handles. Each door can take up to 8 weeks to manufacture and is inspected at each stage to make sure it’s of Weru quality. The front door on this project features our finger print scan technology that allows entry to your home. The high-tech feature allows you to store up to 100 finger prints on the system and works very similar to an iPhone. Simply, allow the scan to identify your finger print and the door will be released and will open.
