Abandoned House Transformed Into The Perfect Holiday Home

Abandoned House Transformed Into The Perfect Holiday Home

A derelict property on the beautiful island of Anglesey has been given a new a lease of life, after property developers, Mr and Mrs Wilson, decided to fully refurbish their bungalow.

The holiday home is situated in an area of complete tranquility; with stunning views that overlook the Irish Sea and sunrises that peak over the Snowdonia Mountains.

Mr and Mrs Wilson chose Weru to supply and install all of their windows for the house. They opted for our Afino Tec, triple glazed, PVCu hybrid system – a common choice for a coastal location.

This system is very reliable, as triple sealed sashes ensure that the salty air coming off the coast doesn’t erode the mechanics of the window. Triple glazed units also mean that every window is very energy efficient and will help keep heating costs down.

The Afino Tec system is very secure, so the owners needn’t worry when the house is unoccupied. The all-round steel reinforcement in the frame and GFP high-tech material in the sash, guarantee outstanding stability and torsional rigidity.

Mr and Mrs Wilson, and their guests, can also enjoy the lovely views that surround their home. The very unique way our German Windows are made allow our customers to have very large panes of glass in their homes. The fibre reinforced sash profiles, combined with steel reinforcing and heavy duty hardware, ensure outstanding stability and make exceptionally large windows possible.

The owners of this wonderful coastal gem said:” We took the plunge and went for Weru windows. since they were recommended by a neighbour. We soon found out these are no ordinary uPVC windows — think all things German and that’s what they are. Kate and Graham from Weru in Blackpool have been fantastic to deal with on all fronts. The Weru guarantee means that their installers need to install the windows, which gave me a lot of confidence as I knew that if there is ever a problem, it can’t be blamed on a third party installer.”
